On June 19th (the 2 month anniversary of the Gulf Coast oil disaster), let us gather to show our outrage against BP, a company that ignored safety issues and spent millions lobbying Congress to fight regulations. Let us gather to mourn the deaths of the 11 workers on the oil rig, the destruction of wildlife, and the livelihoods destroyed along the Gulf Coast region. We call on President Obama and the US Congress to hold BP accountable, for an end to offshore drilling and for a total restructuring of energy to clean, renewable resources!
