Kent Mesplay for President: 2012 Green "Power to the People" Presidential Campaign!

Hola Arizona Green Party members,
The Mesplay for President Campaign is looking for enthusiastic Arizonans who can help take this campaign to the next level: a full time run, dedicated to organizing the Green Party and spreading the following urgent call to action. There are four main points of this campaign:
1) We need to rapidly transform our cities, towns and tribal communities toward being as sustainable and self-sufficient as possible. We do this by locally creating Green jobs related to water, food and energy, and by calling on volunteerism, re-localization of currency or "scrip", time-banking and extremely conscientious use of resources without waiting for action from the federal government.
2) We need to teach and develop emergency preparedness, beginning with every household having five (5) gallons of potable water on hand for each occupant (I am an Emergency Shelter Manager for the County of San Diego, trained by the Office of Emergency Services. This is important!).
3) We grow the Green Party through a serious, non-apologetic campaign with the following practical goals in mind:
* increase Green Party registration/membership, largely through social media and involving people at colleges/universities and at "Occupy Arizona"(Flagstaff, Phoenix, Prescott, Tucson, etc) events;
* plan to receive well over 5% of the vote in the November 2012 General Election;
* be on as many state ballots as possible so as to have a statistical chance of winning the 2012 General Election;
* create our own publicized debates;
* and, raise over $100,000 in increments of at least $5,000 from each of 20 states. A Green has not yet done this in a presidential race. This would help us qualify for federal matching funds. I request your assistance in getting the word out that the Mesplay for President Campaign is serious; your donations and help with fundraising will make this possible. Additionally, as a candidate, I deserve the level of support that will allow me to take time off from work and run a truly visible and successful campaign.
4) We help tribal nations and communities to network and to pool resources to increase their self-determination, self-reliance, sustainability and emergency preparedness. Climate change is a threat to the survival of resource-poor tribal communities that have been besieged by half a millenium of genocide, encroachment, oppression and other sovereignty-crushing tactics of a materialistic Western culture that considers itself advanced and dominant, but that is now poised to collapse at all levels. Elders from numerous Native cultures have been warning, for years, that we need to change our ways. Now is the time, and time is of short supply.
The presidency is not important; survival is. Join the Kent Mesplay 2012 Green "Power to the People" Presidential Campaign! Together, our campaign will help us, and all-our-relations, of having a better chance of surviving. Thank you.
