Social Security is a promise made to all generations. It belongs to you and your family, because you have worked hard and contributed to it. If you pay in, then you and your family earn the right to collect benefits when you retire, experience a severe disability or die.

But there are some in Washington and on Wall Street who want to break that promise—by cutting Social Security’s benefits and by privatizing the program. We can’t let that happen. Join us as we celebrate Social Security’s first 75 years and make sure that the promise is kept for the next 75 years!
